The Swedish Armed Forces Cyber Defence is now looking for a Logistics Manager. We are looking for you who have experience in logistics work and who want to develop in an stimulating and unique environment.

About the position

In this position, you will work with tasks related to supply of provisions, inventory, technical service, and transportation. Work and project management are included in the role, and you should not be afraid to take matters into your own hands. You are part of a larger operation and will also support others with tasks as needed.

Your main responsibilities:

• Operational logistics support
• Ordering of materiel
• Inventory of materiel
• Responsibility for materiel systems including periodic inspections
• Participate in capability development

Qualifications

• Officer or specialist officer education
• Knowledge and experience within logistics
• Experience in a leadership position
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• At least a B-category driver's license

Information about the recruiting unit: The Chief of Defence and the Director General are located at the Headquarters. The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of 2023-01-01, the Headquarters consists of the Defence Staff, the Operations Command, the Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as the Headquarters Staff Department and independent units for supervision. Employment with us implies placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required. Security screening with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed.
